alhamdulillah, it's been 3 months since the sacred 8 april 2011..d date that changed my whole life forever =)

grateful for everything that's happened, a new family member added and a few, we adopted two pretty munchkin kitties that makes our household livelier (if not lively enough with my sisters brawling each other), dawn n moby..cuddlecuddle*

well, moby actually is my husband's in office cat, keeping him company whenever he works..
always have a soft side for kittens (us two) feeling all mushy2 inside thinking bout them..

have i mentioned i've been transferred back to selangor for good!?
bye-bye old workplace!! suddenly feeling some light shed in the dark for a while..
alhamdulillah..everything's as planned..so far~

last saturday, apart fr the BERSIH 2.0 rally, my bestie MS.NORDINA ABDUL RAHIM is officially engaged to her mr.lalala....a lalalala occasion indeed! couldn't be there though, have to rush back to kedah for oncall d day before, almost missed d bus back because of d roadblocks!!hmmmpph
so happy for u dear! n alhamdulillah, despite d controversies, tears n sakit pinggang, u made it through bestie! *bagi pat in the back sket..hugs

it's 2 days to aidilfitri, n i'm still stuck in work..n 450 km away fr home..h-uh
catching d morning bus back tomorrow, n will be home by eve of eid..how convenient! that means no teary eyes fr kupas sekampit bawang merah for d raya dishes..hahaha(evil)..don't envy me siblings!blame my boss for it..hoping dat raya won't arrive early dis year, if yes, i'll be teary eyed for a completely different reason dis year..boohoo

the atmosphere in d clinic bit laid back today, as everybody's starting to take annual leaves and busy preparing for eid in 2 days.. i feel delighted today both of my denture patients got their dentures before raya!didn't promised to them though, but mr.ng n kak ernie (my dental technicians-the good ones)managed to pull it off in 3 days to process the denture despite of their heavy workload..hurrah to both of them for the perfectly fit dentures..
just love d smile of gratitude fr the patients upon receiving their dentures..

i love reading columns in the star, an today i read the star online, came across an interesting column 'the young once must believe in the young ones' (get it?) even before reading through, the title is self-explanatory..very interesting, the column coz, its basically bout nabil jeffri the 17 yr old who was given a huge opportunity to be the the youngest test driver in F1 history

on a lighter note, congrats to nawwal and pijol,their 1st baby born on the 7th of september..a healthy baby boy..alhamdulillah..

we're halfway through ramadhan..alhamdulillah..can't wait for the last 10 nights where it's the best of all nights during the holy month..
listened to a ceramah last week about berpuase..saum (arabic)- sod-sabar, wau-waraq, miim-muhsin(ihsan) wut catches my attention is, d ihsan part- during ramadhan saidatina 'aisyah gives out sadaqah every moment..because every deed or ibadah will be doubled or even we gain bigger bigger rewards in life after..insyaallah..

early this month, went to BTN course, indeed an eye-opener for me literally, didn't slept throughout the series of lectures..it does effect the patriotism spirit in me..way too much sensitive issues and sometimes eerie to be heard..history is important people!it's how we shape the nation today..eventho i really suck in history during school..

yesterday was the big B-day..26 already huh? thanks to all dear friends n family, for the well wishes..

a bit(well actually not a bit)devastated coz germany didn't get to go the finals..but still, hands down, spain's game was flawless fr my point of view..
so for the sake of pleasant eyecandy for this time around for the finals (which i irrevocably refused to watch coz felt d heartache still aching fr dejection last nite)

fortunately, going home dis evening for movie outing with my two hermanas at home..yes, finally! eclipse is here...looking forward, hope the movie won't disappoint us readers plsss

currently attached to a book; enjoy your life by Dr. Muhammad Adb Al-Rahman Al-Arifi..when i first read it, thought it was a self-help book as the title implied but turns out it's a collection of short stories of our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. on his art of interaction with people..now i'm loving every second of reading d book..thanks to a good fren, it was a souvenior fr mekah..

googled the title of the book, n found:

"This is an exquisite collection of incidents from the life of the Prophet (S), stories from our Islamic Heritage, and thought-provoking anecdotes from the life of the author. The aim of the book is to train the reader to enjoy living his life by practicing various self-development and inter-personal skills. it's around 600 pages, the book will be with me for some time =)

ok, everyone shud have plans, so let's categorize into short term and long term goals, shall we?

The past 2 weeks were a mess, but spending time at home for a one week-break was a pleasant antidote for my bodyaches..
went window shopping with mama for my new room and choosing wallpapers>>reallly heart that...so currently the concept will be a combination of teal and brown colors...

can't wait for this robotic turned to zombie life to make a 360 degree turn.

considering the answer to the question above..one step at a time..

it's almost mid-year, n having sum mid year crisis as usual..when will it ever end?

been really2 pre-occupied with lots of activities since my last post early april..

spotted; in kl for 2 weekends in a row
weekend no.1
-attending my ex-roomie's wedding at dewan perdana felda..congrats to ina n ramzul (all my love to u guys!) AMAZING!
-met up with fiza for her birthday treat n shoe hunting! love3! (eventually no shoes bought; my desired size was out of stock! urgh!)

weekend no.2
-went to klcc, picked up wristlet that was bought online (thnks carmen!)
-watched how to train ur dragon with bestie..AWESOME!
-delicious tea for two at delicious midvalley
-thinking of switching to bb storm fr my old htc touch pro..2 yrs is considered old in the gadget techs dept.! (but cant live without sliding qwerty keyboard)
-attended normah's wedding in muar (drove with tiya (close fren fr my alma mater))
-1st outing with baby wafiq n mommy wafiq n bestie at pavillion's theobroma chocolate for brunch!YUMMYLICIOUS sinfully multi-chocolate experience ever! (try to make it sound ultimately chocolaty delicious)

the following week, went for a website building course held by the IT dept of my JKN at penang island for 4-full-of-pening-mind challenging-for-a-challenged-IT-person like me..hmph,on the brightside, i developed a new talent at the age of 26!-i can inevitably build a website fr scratch! might be useful someday~

although felt guilty coz i really2 want to get transferred, but boss sent me for this course so i should be useful to my dept building a fresh new website..o god!
well, will get hands dirty for the website, n when the it is ready n running, then will voice out my wish to boss..

so far so good for a month alone since normah's getting hitched..except for a few paranoid moments everytime hearing random motorcycles halted in front the house..

i'll never be alone, Allah is always there for me. aaamiin..

today's pretty impulsive.

back fr work,the usual ritual,just chilling on sofa watching e.r,called bestie
then suddenly,
straight to movies after thinking bout it in a split second,
then bought michael buble's tour cd (wanted the cd for so longg)
stormed to kenny rogers for a quick dinner.starrvingg!
btw,movie dat i watched was remember me.with rob pats in it..(the reason why actually for this whole impulsive detour. oohhh,love2 the whole -rage character he played..n with a shocking ending,or not coz for sure someone will eventually die in a film like this..but still heart u rob pats!even pretty sure i'm YEARS older fr dat hearthrob!

can't wait for weekend with love coming april..going home..

BIG fan of leo..needless to say, his acting seems effortless n very believable..my personal favourites include blood diamond (MOST FAV), the aviator, catch me if u can, the departed, the beach, revolutionary road, n of course what's eating gilbert grape, oohh n one more, romeo + juliet

can't wait for shutter island..leonardo+scorsese=phenomenal..most anticipated movie for me this 2010..

just been back fr home, spending the weekend with bestie, watched NINE, just looove musical films n with nicole kidman some more! well, just love love love marion coutillard, the protrayal of a woman of truly pure elegance and sophistication..she plays the loyal wife who sacrifices for her husband and holding on to her marriage despite of her husband's infidelity..
with kidman n coutillard in there, felt like a chanel combined dior ad..

oh yes, went to babyface live in kl..n dat was just awesome!well, i practically grew up with his songs..me n bestie were having so much fun singing along n hollering..n it's all worth the terrible traffic jam (friday evenings traffic was just mad) n the heavy rain..;) to end up the awesome nite, had late supper at kg. baru..we had this delicious bubur berlauk since we were starving..felt like forever since i was last there..

nevertheless, spending time with loved ones is incomparable with anything else in the world..couldn't agree more (imagine me nodding my big head n gleamiing)

watched the news this evening, bout the 3-year old girl got killed after barbaric abuse by some random boyfren of mom??!!!c'mon, can't believe how primitive and inhumane these people were..the child was just start exploring the world, u can just stomp n kick her like she was an inanimate object..o god.. i'm so furious rite now.. i keep on punching down wrong letters while typing this...may whoever did that rot in h***, they must!!! al-fatihah to allahyarham adik syafia..

in a lighter note, dearest mom has some bogus ideas to remodel, yes, yet again micasa, dining area will elongate and become a breakfast terrace with french doors and white-framed windows, me n sisters will hv a new bathroom (yett to brainstorm) n the sort of guestroom downstairs will hv some light pink n brown wallpapers(bold stripes-which is my idea,n with polka dot curtains) n will be furnished lightly, clean-cut way..ooohh..cant wait!oh yes, hopefully our floorboards will change, well father will hv a say in dat later..hmmm..

visited my maksu at ampang, it's been ages since our last visit there, coz they always came over to our place..well because of my little cousin, harith aged 3, was down with a fever..poor little sunshine..

ok, there was, my once love, my c.steinbert piano at my aunt's living room..here's the story, 10 years ago, i gave up my love coz i was in boarding school, n like mama said, the piano just collected dust n not been played eversince..so she gave it to my aunt..n fortunately it has been in use fully by i can say rather talented cousin, mr.khalif aged 16 now, with style..he played few recent pieces by owlcity ,boys like girls n the fray..n i was awestrucked..so i tried to strike some chords, which i eventually sucked, hero which was rather is quite easy peasy for him n party in the usa, n once again, i was fallen back into my 1st love..c.steinbert..

the quite long weekend home will end soon, already felt soo heavy-hearted to go back north..
speaking of which, my to-do list back at work becoming longer day by day...oh, dear..

The weekend equivalents to chores, these days dust is thickening up in a blink of an eye fr the last weekend..oh boy..apart fr vacuuming and distangling cobwebs, i made seafood carbonara n i can say, good job well done, bravo!

Watched Julie & Julia the other day (wonder why it hasn’t shown in cinemas here), n feel like cooking all day long..really loved the idea of the film, blogging n cooking simultaneously n have a full daytime job also! oh, how i wish i could manage that!

So i survived last long hols here and not at home (coz of work obligations of course; as if i was willing to waste precious time not to spent time with la familia back home)double sigh*..but really really can’t wait to be back home dis weekend..homesickness is hitting me again, pls hurry 5 days to come..

Just started to read back again, i picked a rather interesting and different fr my choice of genre, it’s a non-fiction paperback..n i m really excited to finish the book..quran and cricket by Farish A Noor, he originates fr Georgetown, and he writes through honesty and wit, had enjoyed the book so far..

So far, i’m pretty cool the thought of going to be completely by myself after my housemate’s moving out after she will be married in 2 mnths, but sometimes reality hits me in the face, n can i handle it? I hope so..positively sure alone-ness (refused to use loneliness-sounds waayy too pathetic) will be my 2nd bestfriend..sigh*

Enough of the whining missy! (i reminded myself always) whining takes all positivity out the window! N being positive n an opportunistic should be me! At least this blog serves it purpose for letting it all out..

As a fren had said to me, if everyday u have the will to wake up every morning to go to work, that means life isn’t that so bad..live life one day at a time..n u’ll be fine..(such a philosopher my fren is) hmmm..hope so

In any way or another Allah is my saviour and pillar to hold onto during good and bad times..
May goodness comes my way this time around..

good news is lotsa bambinos coming this september..hehe..offsprings of peers
weather getting more n more erratic these days..up to 31 degrees n dat is in the surgery(supposed to be suhu bilik ok!)
everything seems to be drying up, moi eyes, cracked lips..have to pump ourselves with lotsa h20!!
nothing much hv been said or done for the past month.
on duty for on-call this long hols..sigh~fingers crossed for minimal or zero cases..
cant wait for march, babyface coming!

it's my favourite time of year..alhamdulillah, another ramadhan for us all..it's the 2nd time of berpuase minus la familia, miles fr home...tp takpe, nk kumpul cuti for raya and my getaway! though my cuti sgt bnyk, around 25 days more!huh

today's 1st of puase, so pg td bangun sahur sorang2, n no idea nk masak ape..the fastest easiest way is masak je oat with some broccoli+egg soup..i'm a BIG fan of sahur, so tk kesah nk mkn ape pon, just luv the feeling of sahur! (this post was actually meant for the 1st day of puase dat was yesterday), tibe2 internet tklah nk connect

as for today, sadly, tak leh puase..so tonite, normah melayan me as it's my birthday, for some coffee n muffin at starbucks sbb i insisted nk jgk online tonight..yes, it's my 25th birthday..n i'm not really feeling it, coz i shud hv moved on to the next chapter of life, but unfortunately, i'm still stuck..tick-tock! good thing is, this time around my birthday falls in ramadhan n i luv ramadhan!

my clumsiness and kalutness in the morning was getting worse..
it was raining quite heavily on thursday morning, so i was very liat to get out of bed for work..
i clumsily get out of bed, then almost slipped in the bathroom..that was sure some adrenaline rush in the morning!
the clock was just 7.30 am, usually it will take me just 20 mins to reach to the hospital but dat day my car was outside the gate, n there was no umbrella at sight, so i ran to my car relentlessly..
rainy mornings meant less motorbikes on road but more cars driving extra slowly..so it took me almost 30 mins..7.30 + 30 mins, do the math!
so i reached the hospital parking lot at last! then i hv to reach the umbrella at the backseat, pastu tertekan hon, still not enough drama, my car alarm berbunyi plak..while i was opening the umbrella!gosh talking bout creating a scene!
rushed in wetness to the clinic, phew, i managed to punch my card exactly seconds before 8.01! hehe..
yeah, dat was how i started my day..

fuzzy hazy day

it's the time of year again when the haze becomes worse..today as i walked out of the hospital where i work, felt bit fuzzy and suffocated just walking to the carpark..n it was just a 3-min walk!

the outbreak of H1N1 virus getting scarier day after day, already 8 deaths reported?!gosh, really terrifying..wash hands properly ppl n practice good self hygiene! wearing masks is a plus! hopefully this phase will quickly pass..

yesterday was my 1st anniversary of working! it's already a year..it was a very looong year me as a first year dental officer..i must say, it was a very interesting year of gaining unforgettable experiences..

speaking of which, just a week ago, we got a case of a 10-year old perfectly healthy boy was referred to us (oral surgery dept) with profused bleeding from the mouth n went into hypovolumic shock( meaning it's really2 not a good thing ), the boy may bleed to death..even my boss was pooled with the boy's blood!hours n hours of pressure packing in his mouth, we can't identify the source of bleeding then we decided to sent the patient to a vascular surgeon in hkl..the boy was suspected to hv malformation of his blood vessels (av malformation)..phew! that day was really nerve wrecking! hoped the boy will get better..
this definitely will be unforgotten forever!

during my uni days, we learnt more of the theory part, n were busy chasing to fulfill our schedule and requirements but in real life, the experience in the working force helped alot in handling patients day in day out..everyday there will be new knowledge n tactics we gain during our long years of working..

here's to years ahead of working!

yes, i mean that literally, the weather where i am currently residing at, suffered fr constantly changing hot n cold weather for the past few months..the afternoons tend to be super2 hot even the pipewater felt heated (no heater ok!), n towards the evening, rain starts to pour..but today,lovely2 today, it rains the whole day, this part of the country really2 needs some cooling effect..alhamdulillah..
it's a saturday, n i m happily, warmingly, cuddly2 in my blanket at home listening to easy light music by zee avi while surfing the net..

newsflash!me n my housemate bought a couch n a dining table!!n it was truefully worth the bargain! =) speaking of bargains, went to the mj warehouse sale at p.i.s.a, didnt manage to buy anything worthful, ended up shopping at somewhere else..it almost became a routine, once a mnth to just splurging around relentlessly..oh dear!
back to wut i was saying, i love rainy days especially when i dont hv any plans, i just can get cosy mosy at home enjoying the swift cool wind and the sound of the rain...hmmm.hmmm

back south at micasa, alhamdulillah, puteh my cat, is in almost-full recovery mode, n she has been running up n down our household healthily and gleefully since my visit home last week..as in to proof to us, she is perfectly fit and healthy..oh gosh, talking bout my cats makes me miss them so much!fortunately, my day off next sunday was approved, so i will be coming home dis weekend extending till monday, isra' mikraj...

today is already 19 rejab, just managed to puase a few days for the 19 days of rejab..really looking forward to syaaban and then ramadhan! coming just around the corner! the most beautiful time of year wherever, whenever!

a l'il update during june, attended mda (for those who's wondering, mda stands for malaysian dental association), it was a very joyous n informative event held in penang..beware!dentists at large!eheh..catching up with old classmates, getting freebies n goodie bags (dental stuff of coz) a huge plus, i won the lucky draw!(one of the winners; hoping to get the laptop or the teeth whitening unit) got a huge hamper of johnson n johnson a year of supplies!yippie!loved the scent of baby stuff!the scent of bundle of joy, ;)

managed to watch transformers:revenge of the fallen..it's a great show for the fans, but honestly, i prefrerred the 1st one, but that's just me i think..can't wait for nxt potter movie, half blood prince, my fav book after goblet of fire; planning to pre-reread the book be4 the muvi comes, jeez, i left it at home!

just heard dat teaching in science and maths back to bm, quite a shocker, i hold no opinions upon dis one, personally, regardless of any language, the way the teachers potray the knowledge to be apprehended by the students dat counts..as long as the students can grasp the core of the knowledge, no worries!

oh, boy terpanjang la plak entry ni, italianize kn tulisan so cpt sket boleh bace,,hehe. (my own theory for speed reading)

in a blink of an eye, suddenly it's june..n it's the time of year again of numerous weddings, since it's the school holidays, everyone n i mean EVERYONE seems to be getting married throughout the country..
got lotsa invites, n i really apologize, many no-shows from me..sadly, but best wishes to all newly weds this year, n mostly to my dearest friends
n a shout out to shidah, my really great friend, on her delivery to a really cute n healthy baby boy,hareez..aunty faie has a prezzie for u, dear hareez..
n expecting is my bestie, fara izuwin due on 26th june!yeay!!

n to top all of that, last week, my cat puteh got really sick, she had to be isolated..that's wat the vet said, coz she may spread her disease to other cats or even to immunocompromised humans..poor puteh..no wonder she does not want to come near us for the past weeks...she may die of the disease if not treated n the vet suggested us to put her to sleep as in put her to die..n that were the options, n without thinking, we agreed to continue treatmnt, n of coz we don't want to lose puteh!!for the time being, puteh is kept in a cage, and is fed with medications..pls hold on puteh, coz we love u so much!get well soon!

just another no-fun weekend here, hope to be home soon..

it's a friday again!always makes my heart soar..later this morning was having some sort of worthful thought with my colleagues, about funds, trusts, n all the financial talk..how i am a dummy in all these things, i need one of the for dummies books..huh.even after been explained numerous times, it kinda can't stick in my thick head about all those, i need to ask all over again everytime it came through my mind..thank god for fathers in this world!always always concerning about my poor financial management..hehe..

speaking of which, shopaholic is going to silver screen!hurrah! eventhough i know wut will i feel after watching the movie..but still, can't wait!

just thinking about shopping, makes me gleam..yeah, picture me gleaming in front of this screen!

it's the weekend and surprisingly i was out of boredom of the 2 days.
watched slumdog millionaire, just out of pure curiosity to witness myself the film dat won a handful (or 2) of oscars, yes, it was a great watch indeed..different n it has elements of everything and between, n a definite highly recommendation to all movie goers..

loved the fact dat it was made by a british n it has the touch of a tiny bit of bollywood here n there, geniusly put together the past n present, n i was amazed it was only recorded with a digi cam! i loved amatuer-turned pro work, the reality of mumbai-just loved how they filmed it, totally art!reminds me of blair witch project (well, but dat's a totally different story)
n a huge plus, the soundtrack is amazing throughout the story!

n to all due respect to our local industry, i think it might worth a shot to watch upin dan ipin, i heard good reviews n my l'il sista was persistently insisting to watch the flick..yeah, next weekend sis! i promise!

promises made, i promised my bestie to blog about our friday nite out last weekend, when i was in kl, we watched together (at last!) pgl the musical, as we waited soooo long for this time of year, when tiara will come out with another season of her shows, i might call myself an occasionally musical theater-goer, i watched ramlee the musical last june, n it was really a blast!totally adored the retro atmosphere, really felt in the p.ramlee era dat time..
well, pgl was good as well, but if there were to be a rerun of ramlee, i'm surely going to watch it again for another round..hurrah!

makes me figure out, all d fun n the good things happened on a friday,
well it is the beginning of the weekend, n i loooove fridays soooo much!
thank god it's friday yet again

since my encounter with the cold-blooded creature 2 days ago, i was getting paranoid of going to the kitchen door..
n i m more ultra sensitive towards anything that creeps or crawls or melingkar, even if it is an immobile object such as my hair band, the hose in the toilet and any kind of strings..m imagining some scene fr anaconda, where the baby snakes hang down from the trees...urgh..
as for now, i won't go any near the crime scene, where i found mr.snake, like reliving a nightmare..ok, now i'm sounding so melodramatic
maybe it's because while driving home fr work, i almost drove over a large iguana crossing the street just before the junction to my house, huh, is it me or these creatures suddenly emerge trying to get some attention?!
owh gosh, it's february already!how time flies..n i hv got already 2 encounters with reptilians..urgh..

2 days before, i was pretty convinced that my car's battery needed charging or checked, just because i, accidentally, being the very-absent-minded lady left (i dunno wut to call it) the light that indicates the pintu kereta tak tutup rapat thing was left open for just more or less 2 hours, because it was dark n i can't see while i was locking my steering wheel..
thankfully, my neighbour noticed, so he woke me up knocking the gate, asking me to check wut's wrong with my car..
the next day, before my routine splurging-shopping trips to penang, me being the jumping to conclusions too soon lady (only sometimes k, in rare cases like these involving cars, electrical/electronic goods or DIY stuff) went ballistic n asked normah where the nearest bengkel is so i can get my battery charged or sumthing before even starting the car!(normah is my housemate), so she geniusly (i never thought of it-so much of a taking into my own hands kind of person i am), called a friend of ours, n asked her husband (dr.husli) about my car
then, he patiently explained (i swore he must be giggling about how kalut we were)
well, he convinced us dat there's nothing to be worried about, if the car can start, it can recharge itself, no need to go to the bengkel, because my car is not even a year-old!
that's the 1st surprise
next, this happens minutes ago, while i was somewhat preparing myself for a noon nap, suddenly i feel a sudden need to sweep the kitchen floor, after i was sweeping, i found an unsual lingkaran of rantai (or so i thought) on the baldi, where our detergents were beside the kitchen door and suddenly it just thrust its tongue to me! euw..n it was green-yellow about 30cm sawah snake!!euw2..i jumped n screamed to normah's face, n i thought i was hallucinating, because she can't see it, well actually the snake went up to our grill at the backdoor..huh, n she screamed n jumped up to the bed as well..thank god for us already have beds worth jumping on for, my saviour!
just minutes after, we decided to turn for help to once again, our neighbours, to kak su's husband and his neighbour, we never knew his name,and they came to our aid..
after the salt throwing, the boiling water n the gooey moment with the snake, they captured it successfully the mr.snake..
the moral of the story is, be good to our neighbours, or know them, someday, or anydays they can look out for us..thanks so much my friendly neighbours!!n they always came in handy..heehee,especially to single ladies like us no man in the house, we should admit it, some things are just meant to be with the Y chromosome.

or not so ordinary lah, coz my clinic has no water today..yippie! dat means patients just HAVE TO be sent back home, UNFORTUNATELY..hehe..dat means i have lots of time doing absolutely no treatment-related thingys for the day..
lotsa2 other errands and things to do, like updating records for my assistant n as for me reviewing my ortho presentation for tomorrow n transferring all the typed reports to powerpoint presentations for the clinic..yeah, there is no such thing of makan gaji buta in our clinics people!NEWSFLASH!
the public has always the wrong impression about government dental clinics, they thought we have nothing else to do besides treating patients day in and day out..lots of admin work (as everyone calls it now anything dat involves paperwork)
n every once or twice a week going to schools, treating school children, n giving talks apart fr providing checkups for antenatal mothers, n giving talks to them also, i don't want to start with the other programs, toddler prgrm, n other sorts of prgrms for every walks of life..dis includes warga tua! oral cancer prgrms, d list never stops..
as for me, i have an extra task, dat is (drumroll pls) KMK (kumpulan meningkatkan mutukerja), dis involves innovation etc for the clinic.. n the most excruciating is all the ISO thingy! hardwork!

yeah, it's just another day..it will pass..

i'm pretty skyped (god knows wut dat means) coz i just spent the greatest year-end holidays ever! i got full 10 days at home fr work, just wanted to finish off my cuti, but i still had one remaining day cuti bwk ke hadapan..yikes

during the hols, wut really makes me feel out of this world is i purchased my tablet pc n a lot of other things!yippie!

finished reading book 2 of d twilight saga,namely new moon..moi already halfway reading through eclipse, the 3rd book..the book is both exciting and a totally page turner..having said that, my l'il sis won't agree with me..she just enjoyed the 1st book,unlike me with my sentimental heart totally looove the series..able to finish up to 600 pages around 1 week, in between patient's appointments, of course during non-hectic days (almost rarely) but i managed! currently totally hooked up to the twilight soundtrack, highly recommended to all twilight fans out there!! very different choice of music,,very uber+edgy..hehe..n u guys could probably try listening to The Script, totally awesome!loved the track i'm yours...

really amused reading my l'il sis's blog..one of the blogs on my fav list..she really like to speak out her mind, unlike me, n dat's totally my part of genes not inherited fr neither my mom or dad

during aidiladha, me n familia spent our holidays at penang as to celebrate me (quoted my mom) for suddenly residing at the northern region..(for more details of the trip,pls do read eizza's blog, quite hilarious!)not going to be a permanent thing i told my mom,she's just having it as an excuse to travel by road to see me..(opposite fr my father, he rather not travel by road, he hates long-distance driving)~or so i thought..huh

fyi, i didn't buy the samsung omnia after carefully comparing during my gadget hunting so i decided to buy (finally!) actually i bought it already during hari raya few mnths back,

a htc touch pro! totally loved it!luv at 1st sight i must say..coz it comes with a sliding keyboard!!a l'il bit as a t mobile..sigh~* luv it to bits!

almost 5 mnths of working now,it's a breeze..n the most important thing to get paid for!!hurrah! splurging is my greatest expertise..hehe, but future financial security must be secured 1st..huh..dats my financial advice i will always remmber fr my dad..huhu..

alrity, not feeling really well today, the thought of getting back to work especially sundays makes me just want to curl back to my comforter..apart fr my sore throat n hideous coughing..hv some errands to make, buying workshoes is one of 'em for today..i desperately need another pair!!

hey there!just watched d movie after just finishing the novel..i m in totally twilight mode rite now, or i must say edward cullen mode..haha..dis is a highly recommended must see movie of dis year, it will be better after reading the novel though, picturing robert pattison as a so irresistible vampire in love..huh..it melts me..huh..it's been long since i read a rreally good book..this is a must see, must read peeps! up there is the cullen family,the oh-so good looking family i must say..during the movie i was oggling all the way with my 2 sistas at pavilion, after the show, everyone applaused...yeah, dat's how good the muvi is...how can anyone not oogle with the goorrgeous cast!!i just love it..surely on my fav list rite now!!

alhamdulillah..the moment had come at last..i obtained my dds finally!!! hurrah..the moment cherished was on the 11th of june 2008..let me live the moment for a while here..=)
now i'm looking everything in a whole new perspective (wow!yup ms. opot wow! haha)

went to istana budaya, watched p.ramlee the musical..thumbs-up for that one! definitely a
five-star waktu berlibur for me..eventhough it was a fullhouse, n i apparently was seated at the most back seats..they deserve a standing ovation!!!double hurrah for the whole crew! definitely loved that one!

n went shopping kain with mama, dina n fiza for makwin's wedding..me n dina n ain are her bestmaids!!with the gorgeous satin champagne-coloured kain, we went hunting for the matching lace for our oufits!! third hurrah! n for my graduation, i managed to find (actually mama)managed to find a lovely grey kain with pink prints well,at least it matched our hot pink konvo robes..haha

yeah, after my long silence fr this cyberworld, dis is just bout it..best wishes to all the peeps!!~m in a totally happy mood rite now-planning a getaway with my bestie!!for the time being, i'll just get wasted at home and just chill...sounds purely fun...

last week was the longest ever!
went for my s.p.a interview..(well that only took a half day) n been occupied with our geriatric project , that has been postponed numerous times, n been postponed still..hopefully by 15/3, we were able to finally to go there

i went to one of the care homes for the elderly for our situational analysis (=survey) where we intend to organize our project last friday afternoon..once there, i was truly touched when one of the residents hugged me n asked us to stay a little longer, n some of them asked when they could be home..that was the turning point for me, where it gave me a whole new perspective in life..

is it me, or m being too sensitive bout this..most of the residents were Malays! i was really sad been thinking bout this, how could they been abandoned by their families..no doubt minority of them have no relatives at all..but the rest?all of us who were there thought the same thing..that is something to ponder about,ppl!

well, family matters the most,rite? just seen little miss sunshine, n it is really important we stick together as a family during bad and the good times..

this is what i have to say for tonite..i think all of us should be sensitive of the community and what's happening out there..especially to the less fortunate, for us to be less-selfish and giving a helping hand..

it's a very hard week for all of us in the faculty, our beloved Prof Ling Booi Cie had passed away on the 23rd..we will always remember his kindness and passionate teaching to us..it was really an honour to be students of a very respectful man,all the condolences to his family..we will never forget you..

two of people i'd known died of lymphoma, my dear arwah paklong and Prof Ling..
it's been almost 2 years since paklong had been gone, suffered from lymphoma for a year..he was a very good man..thank you paklong!

what is with people behind the wheel these days? lack a bit of patience on the road, they are. people say personalities change when u're behind the wheel. cursing and horning (is this a word?anyway,) is actually a norm eventhough u're soft spoken off-road..they say.to me,we shouldn't be selfish.we are permitted to, once in a while, but not too often people..we have to think bout others.drivers should be more considerate,not giving highlights for no good reasons, using the emergency lane during bad traffic, no horning people around for being a second late when the light turns green..patience people please..manners does matter everywhere in the world..
yeah,dat's me against malaysian drivers..hehe
bout my l'il eeny beeny life that does not give effect to others..i had a reeeaallllly unfortunate week.

today was unbelievable.

i feel unbelievably shocked cikgu rosli harun telah kembali kepada-Nya at 7.40 a.m. he was my teacher at school..taught me french..arwah had hypertension..leading to a burst aneurysm..he's young..al-fatihah..all my condolences to arwah's family..

my mom's biggest obsession is her garden n the house
well,as a homemaker,i rest my case..we're hearing lots n lots of "mama nk tuka cat ni la-boring""mama nk suruh org dtg tambah ini la,itu la""nk ganti rumput baru la" n moving furniture around is her most favourite pastime..we couldn't avoid her from going to living quarters n ikea every chance she have kalau my father returns home...haha,he can't say no kn~

yesterday,went to sg.buloh with my mom..nk carik rumput katenye so we went there as early as possible..after purchasing 200 pieces of grass pieces,yeaa-200!,i thought of heading straight home,of course being MAMA,absolutely not going to resist visiting a few nurseries there..A FEW?!~almost all nurseries actually! (dat was a really long walk,really2)LOVE U MAMA!!

anything to make my mother happy~won't risk it! actually quite nice strolling across the millions and millions of flowers there..my mom's face was gleaming all the way-see how the greenery gives that kind of effect to people?if properly nurtured n everything..(yes,same with humans)

then,on the way home we went pass Hospital Sg.Buloh just near by the nurseries~out of the blue my mom blurted "why don't mntk posting kt cni"..as usual agree je la with her..then she added "senang nanti, mama pesan je beli bunga kt cni everytime u blk rumah"..u see how obsessed my mom is? well actually the love for nature n greens ni is in our blood (i doubt it in my blood~suke indulge je bunge2 ni tp tk reti nk jage) arwah granny n arwah paklong will spend most of the time at the garden je..more than in the house!

well, for me, i don't have any obsessions..hmmm..yeah no.full stop.
being obsessed to achieve sumthing is good in some sort of angle.it gives u the drive.
but hands down, i prefer being only average..not good eh..
being average is fine in a way.when what we're done is the best that we could do.

today sunday may 6th, wedding kak azlina, my senior at school dulu~yeay! Congrats to her menamatkan zaman bujangnye,,hehe so as usual me n the clan (dina ain makwin (as always)) kena la attend!!

oh yee..tgk mr.spidey hari tu kt mid valley..the tix 12 rggt,nawwal dpt 6 rggt (student card does the trick~tp org jual tiket tu sceptical je tgk kad matrik yg usang tuh..haha~5 thn k ktrg nih menua kt ukm tuh)..euww..me biah n nawwal..the movie was great as expected..tp org2 dlm panggung tu annoyed ngn ktrg?! ade la some funny lines n gestures si tobey tu tunjuk he's dark side~which in my opinion sgtt CUTE n WITTY when's he's peter parker la dgn the good charlotte look-i like!!(nawwal punye pendapat)~we laughed appropriately k,tetibe ade org bg the look kt ktrg..who cares?to add lg,ade kiddies dok tepi nawwal,at the middle of the story tetibe nk balik n tk suke spiderman?haha-mcm2.

after the movie,sprti biase lapar n nk bergosip ngn biah so ktrg mkn kt k*****,semue mntk plain chilled water~die bg papercup je..euh,terok tol..bkn compliment k!!ni like nk mkn main meal ni..tercekik nnt sape nk jwb??ade yg kena wat hemlic manoeuvre ni kang..~terok2.

dat day was fun sbb lps tu dina dtg, nk shopping beli wedding gift tuk kak azlina..mase tuh ktrg narrowed into 2 choices- stylo vase which fab ckp chic n a coffeemaker which is more practical kate ain..then dat left us to decide~n the coffee maker IT IS!!

speaking of kak azlina,die kakak dorm mase ktrg form 1 kt skool dulu..satu dorm ni form 1 tetibe die form 4 kena jage dak2 form 1 ni..that was US la..at the beginning igt k.azlina sgt la garang orgnye..but then sebenarnye she's just doing her duty..siape tk takut ngn senior kn mase form 1 dulu..rupenye die sgt sporting n kelakar..lps tu die simpan lg gmbr2 mase kt dorm dulu,which die ltk kt frenster die-sentimental juge orgnye!!

Alhamdulillah, now m entering a new chapter in my life as a final year student..(phew!finally..)really2 nervewrecking moment that friday evening with the rain pouring n thunder roaring outside our faculty...waiting one by one our dearest dean saying out loud our names whether we're able to step to the final year as a dental student..(close one!)

amat2 lah bersyukur because able to pull everything off and finally reached dis stage..it's a big wonder...feels like it's been ages since i felt as a freshie there learning basic anatomy then now can be able to treat patients..big WOW there!!hahaha..not seeing any of this coming..euh,but that's what it takes to be a dentist someday..

actually bnyk nk diperkatekn at the back of my head ni sebnrnye but di kala2 tggu results n the LIST last week..(can u imagine?last paper was on tuesday,viva list dh kuar esok harinye..n on friday final results dh dpt..)like mad kitorang ni tggu kt kr baru inspite of all the rumours about the results~klu lame lagi,we can get mad really~semue bende nk diblogkan dh hilang..

enough with the academic -related thingy..this is my to-do list dis following one month break:

salam..exams are just around the corner..m having adrenaline rushes dah ni..hope everything will turn fine..dis coming weeks..exams starting on the 2nd..3 weeks of exam
these are my 7 papers dis semester:

orthodontics (about moving teeth around)
operative (about fillings, root canals n kiddies' dentition)
prosthodontics (about dentures, crowns, bridges n eveything in between)~tough one mate!
oral pathology and medicine (diseases in the mouth,oral histology a.k.a cells etc)
oral surgery (about pulling teeth n reconstructing bones of the face n wisdom teeth)
periodontics (about gums, pockets and the notorious plaque)
dental public health (includes social behavioural science, prevention n education n how to brush ur teeth!)

well, that's just a l'il description bout wut it's all about..u wouldn't believe how thick our notes is..ring file yg paling tebal tu pon tk muat tau!hahaha..not to mention ade like clinical exams, competency tests, clinical requirements to fulfill etc etc..

thankfully, we have a study week be4 sitting for the exam..at least..

everyone else will be sitting for the final year exam..(my other frens in other courses) but me?just going to step into my final year..insya-Allah..AAAmin...

sbnrnye bkn nk whine psl all d tight schedule n everything..the main purpose of this post ni sbnrnye nk cite sket,last week me n my fellow colleagues have won BEST VIDEO n BEST BROCHURE utk some table clinic competition by colgate..(2 out of 3 categories ktrg menang!!believe it or not..)sgt2 suke n bangge coz titik peluh penat jerih tlh diambil kire n we actually won 2 hampers n 2 piala pusingan..haha,gr8 victory it was..nicely done it!upload gmbr sket to share with y'all..

hi there! m back..having my holidays for a week (i hardly have any my entire year)

i thought of having a great start for my so-called holiday, the previous weekend attending ny ex-school reunion at PD..turns out i had some fun, despite of only 2 hours of sleep the saturday night..stuffing ourselves with the carboned food from the bbq,(no offense to anyone-the thing keeps burning to fire)revealing stories from each other by the beach..well,only less than half of us showed up, that was no surprise of course-since everyone has their own responsibilities at home, but some of us really give some effort n support to our batch 97-01..memories remain..of course we only share stories we want to hear n avoiding the ones that give us regrets, but there are a million of things i regret the most in my life, n the biggest regrets are surely best buried n not digged rite?

but of course it will always haunt us forever n it really2 hurts, give us scars that can't be removed for our entire life, n who cares? let bygone be bygone..

euh,not a good entry for a blog rite?anyway noone bothers, i m the only one who reads dis crap anyway n nawwal maybe if she's not busy wif her phone now,(jgn mara nawwal-it's MY blog)
