sunshine in my pocket

alhamdulillah..the moment had come at last..i obtained my dds finally!!! hurrah..the moment cherished was on the 11th of june 2008..let me live the moment for a while here..=)
now i'm looking everything in a whole new perspective (wow!yup ms. opot wow! haha)

went to istana budaya, watched p.ramlee the musical..thumbs-up for that one! definitely a
five-star waktu berlibur for me..eventhough it was a fullhouse, n i apparently was seated at the most back seats..they deserve a standing ovation!!!double hurrah for the whole crew! definitely loved that one!

n went shopping kain with mama, dina n fiza for makwin's wedding..me n dina n ain are her bestmaids!!with the gorgeous satin champagne-coloured kain, we went hunting for the matching lace for our oufits!! third hurrah! n for my graduation, i managed to find (actually mama)managed to find a lovely grey kain with pink prints well,at least it matched our hot pink konvo robes..haha

yeah, after my long silence fr this cyberworld, dis is just bout it..best wishes to all the peeps!!~m in a totally happy mood rite now-planning a getaway with my bestie!!for the time being, i'll just get wasted at home and just chill...sounds purely fun...

now, i feel like sunshine is really in my pocket, everything feels rite..thanks Allah for your blessings...alhamdulillah..

last week was the longest ever!
went for my s.p.a interview..(well that only took a half day) n been occupied with our geriatric project , that has been postponed numerous times, n been postponed still..hopefully by 15/3, we were able to finally to go there

i went to one of the care homes for the elderly for our situational analysis (=survey) where we intend to organize our project last friday afternoon..once there, i was truly touched when one of the residents hugged me n asked us to stay a little longer, n some of them asked when they could be home..that was the turning point for me, where it gave me a whole new perspective in life..

is it me, or m being too sensitive bout this..most of the residents were Malays! i was really sad been thinking bout this, how could they been abandoned by their families..no doubt minority of them have no relatives at all..but the rest?all of us who were there thought the same thing..that is something to ponder about,ppl!

well, family matters the most,rite? just seen little miss sunshine, n it is really important we stick together as a family during bad and the good times..

this is what i have to say for tonite..i think all of us should be sensitive of the community and what's happening out there..especially to the less fortunate, for us to be less-selfish and giving a helping hand..

it's february already!

it's the 2nd month of the new year..nothing much achieved though, resolutions remain the same..workload is increasing like noone's business dis year..
lots of things happen, nowhere to start..
well, i really missed my bestie, dina, she should be back by next week..
now m currently drooling over some cuppacakes..
i m turning into a relentless shopaholic these days..euw..
n m craving for more lippies, pumps, smocks n d list never stops..retail therapy as many ppl called it really works!!
now, inconsolable by bsb keeps ringing in my head, dunno why
just checked my status as a pengundi, m proud to be one!!hope my poll counts..haha

owh, i think i need a new perfume!bummer-retail again

it's a very hard week for all of us in the faculty, our beloved Prof Ling Booi Cie had passed away on the 23rd..we will always remember his kindness and passionate teaching to us..it was really an honour to be students of a very respectful man,all the condolences to his family..we will never forget you..

two of people i'd known died of lymphoma, my dear arwah paklong and Prof Ling..
it's been almost 2 years since paklong had been gone, suffered from lymphoma for a year..he was a very good man..thank you paklong!

it's almost a week after 1st of syawal..tp puase enam tk wat lg..huhu..kena settlekn gak soon!

been at muar for 2 days visiting relatives, drove all the way to jb!!seb baik tk msk singapore je..haha

it feels good to hear about everybody else's stories besides mine..there's a whole lot of other things to figure out compared to my eenny beeny problems..pheww..but the downside is, semuorg suruh mntk posting kat johor..plss..nooo..sgt jauh k dr mama...='( (yes, i am still a cry baby at heart)

m not the fan of musicals or theatres,tp really keen on anything that's live on stage..so been planning to watch p.ramlee the musical..it will be a blast i presume..because dear datuk siti's there (a bit bias here,my bad =))

the last time i went to istana budaya was in 2004, because of datuk siti too, watched gema zafana..was really2 great!!rase cam nk berzapin..really2..dh la ade all sorts of zapin..in different speed lagi!!watched dgn nawwal(as always), ina n fatin...feels like ages ago,but it was just 3 years back..

tak bagi any compliments yet to both our angkasawan, here goes to dr. sheikh muszaphar n of course, dr.faiz, CONGRATULATIONS!! make us proud! it gives me a feeling of a strange kind of patriotism here..proves that anything is possible if we put our whole heart n soul to..determination is the key..fr blast off to touchdown, all malaysians will stand proud for both of u!!

since eizza, my l'il sis dpn computer 24/7 post-upsr die..i haven't had a chance at all!
n i have no intention at all nk pegi any CC kt campus tuh..

it's the fasting month, holy month of ramadhan..eventhough dah 24 days of ramadhan..counting the days for eidulfitr already, lailatulqadar must not be forgotten guys.. the 10 final nights of ramadhan, looking forward by muslims in the whole world..
spending most of ramadhan berbuke puase di kg. baru, terawih prayers at masjid kg. baru too..

can u imagine??even last day of puase pon ade kelas lagi...the following day dh syawal..thank god my home's just around the corner..not really corner la, kena lalu federal,npe etc2..can imagine the traffic that evening...kena pack up some dates n water be4 balik nnt..keep in mind..

just seen dr.atika's fotopages of her wedding day..tibe2 rase bestnye ade wedding..it was really breathtaking..can't wait for my big day nnt..o oh..dah imagining ridiculous things dah ni..for the reception, lotsa lotsa flowers...i'm thinking off-white colour theme..hmm..how bout garden style?my mom sure sokong nye..hehe..ooopss, focus2!! not now la kn..wedding2 ni,we KIV 3 years nnt? ;p

salam..2 weeks already since kuantan..it was great once in a while to experience new ambience there..not much different pon from here, but klu stressed out, bleh pegi beach..klu kt cni, de-stress dgn ape?something to ponder about..haha.

'life doesn't makes sense sometimes'
i heard dis somewhere..can't remember where..but it really meant something..yeah, i totally agree..once in a while or most of the time, it doesn't makes sense..depends on how we see it..it will make sense if we wanted it to be..to rationalize everything that has happened, eventhough it doesn't makes sense..we're only human, though!

Many unwanted, heart-breaking events happened for this past 2 months..hope to leave it behind for good..better move on with life..long way to go..long long journey and big big responsibilities coming the way..

and it always comes back to how we see life in our own perspective..to put it behind us, or to face it..lessons in life always makes us stronger every single day..

Ramadhan coming soon..time to replenish everything..start fresh for us muslims..seeking eternal love from the only One..
